YESTERDAY'S TRANSACTIONS.

Markets generally were dull on call yesterday, but there was a moderate turnover with prices of several stocks showing a further easing. Transactions exclusive of vestibule business included:—

N.Z. Government 0} per cent. Bonds, 1933, hardened to £UU 15s and more were wanted at that price; no sellers. Australian Bank of Commerce shares were tract,onally weaker at 19s lid, closing quotations 2d on either side. Commercial Bank of Australia shares eased to 17s lid sellers, 17s 4d buyers. Quotations for National Bank of Australasia (£5 paid) and English, Scottish, and Australian Bank shares indicated a weaker market. Bank of New South Wales shares changed hands at £3O 12s Cd and £3O 15s id, closing quotations £3O 10s buyers, £3O 15s sellers. Union Bank of Australia shares realised £lO, but closed weaker with sellers at £9 18s Gd, buyers at £9 16s 6d.

Dalgety and Company shares had dealings at £9, £3 18s (xl, and £8 13s 3d, and there were further sellers at £8 13s Gd, buyers at £8 15s. Goidsbrough, Morts were easier with sellers at 21s Bd, buyers at 21s 3d. New Zealand Guarantee Corporation shares were firm at 7s lOd, market closing Id oti either side. There was a closer market for Westport Coal Company shares, which were quoted at 29s 6d buyers. 30s 8d sellers. New Zealand Breweries weakened to 48s Id sellers, 47s Gd buyers. Tooths Brewery shares were released nt 22s lid. sellers stayin" in at that figure, buyers at 22a 9d tellers of Death and Company shares reduced their limits to 2Gs 3d, buyers at 25s 3d. British Tobaccos changed hands at 32s 3d, 32s Id, and 325, closing quotations 32s Id sellers, 31s 9d buyers. Mt. Lyells relapsed to 20s and 20a_ I'd. and more were offered at 20s 3d, btivers at 20s Id. Mahakipawa Goldfields shares were firmer with dealings at 4jd and sd, and there were further buyers at 4sd, sellers at sd. Winding Creek Is paid shares remained unaltered nt 3}d. but late buyers offered 4d, sellers at iid.
