Polling in the geenral election took place throughout Germany to-day and will continue on Sunday. Eight thousand candidates, representing 24 Parties, aro seeking the rotes of 35,000,000 electors. The issuo is virtually whether the constitutional Parties aro strong enough to form a workable Government and avoid either a Fascist or a Socialist dictatorship. The election campaign has been the stormiest on record but it i« believed that there will b© little change of strength in the chief Parties. The result may .lot be known for several days.
