■■■ V I SPRINGSTON CLUB. The Spnngston Gun Club sparrow championship -was decided oh Saturday afternoon. The match was held in Mr IC. K. Cowell's paddock, • Springston- South. A cold northerly wind • waß blowing all the afternoon. A gold medal valued at £5 5s was . given by the club as first pxize, and a guinea order for second prize. _ The 1930 champion is H. Kimber, F. Brightling, and A. G. Brightling with 8 on. divided tha stake. The final event was the five-bird sweep, for which six entered. F. Brightling scored S; P. Kimber and L. Everest 4.
