BIBLE SOCIETY.
The annual meeting of the Cashmere branch of the-British and Foreign Bible iSociety was held on Thursday, the Rev. W. Baumber presiding. The .I'<!V. A. H. Norris conducted the devotional exercises. The ' organising secretary, the Rev. A. W. Stuart gave an address descriptive of the work ot the organisation, and he was accorded a vote of thanks. The annual collection will be proceeded with on the Cashmere-Hills during the month,.
