PADEREWSKI.
The report that Paderewski is to play in London in the autumn is without foundation (states the "Daily Mail"). In October the great pianist, who in November will be 70, is going to America on a ■ tour, in the course of which he is to give between 80 and 90 concerts. If he comes- to England it will be only to embark for New York, faderewski has been suffering from phlebitis this year, as well as having had appendicitis last year. He ib at present at his home on Lake Geneva, practising for his tour. London ig not likely to hear Faderewski again before the autumn of 193 i.
