A message from Coalmont stated that ten bodies were discovered in the Blakeburn Mine on Monday night. LAn explosion in the Blakeburn Mine entombed 46 miners, for whose rescue strenuous relief efforts were unsuccessful, and the work had to be abandoned owing to conditions in the mine.] •
