RANGITIKI FROM SOUTHAMPTON

After an uneventful jiassago tho New Zea[and\ Shipping Company's motor-liner Bangitiki arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning from London and Southampton, via the Panama Canal and Wellington. The vessel left Southampton on July 4tb, and experienced fine weather crossing the Atlantic. She cleared Colon on July 17th, over 12 hours ahead of her scheduled time. The weather continued fine until she was nearing Pitcairn Island, but she was unable to call at the island owing to heavy seas. From then on the Rangitiki experienced a succession 01 heavy westerly gales, which delayed hor arrival at Wellington. Thick weather outside the Heads yesterday morning further delayed the vessel for several hours. On the run across the Atlantic the Rangitiki averaged 15 5 knots, and her average until she struck the bad weather off Pitcairn Island was 15.4 Rangitiki is to sail next week for Port Chalmers and Bluff to complete dis; rharze. She will then load at Lyttelton (August 28-29 th), Wellington, Napier, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland, and is to sail from Auckland on September 16th for Southampton and London. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
