PRISONERS ESCAPE.

TWO MEN AT LARGE, '(VKXSS A-SSOCIATIOK rZLEOBAX.) AUCKLAND, July SO. ' Francis Gomez, aged 30, a prisoner Tecaiving treatment at the Auckland Hospital, escaped clad in another patient's £lothes early this morning. Gomez was receiving treatment for his eyes,, and is not yet recaptured. Gomez was sentenced in Wellington in February, 1929, to five years' imprisonment for breaking, entering, and theft. James Alexander Scorringe, aged 23, escaped from the Wailcune prison camp at National Park, and is still at large.
