The Kuku ii t« be dispatched this afternoon for Nelson and Wellington. The Breeze arrived yesterday from Timaru, and loads here to day for Wellington, Pioton, and Wanganui. Tho Progress U due tomorrow from Timaru.' She loads here for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato. The Karetu is loading here for Sydney, and is to sail to-night for that port direot. The Wingatui is to discharge fruit here to-day, and then sails for Dunedin. She is due back on Thursday, via Timaru, to load for Auckland. The Maheno is due on Thursday from Melbourne, via Bluff and Dunedin. She ia to sail in the afternoon for Wellington, Bluff, and Melbourne. Tho Pnpanui was an arrival yesterday from Wellington. She will discharge cargo from New York, and proceed* from this port to Dunedin. Tho Hiraatungi arrived at Lyltclton on Saturday afternoon from Timaru. She is to sail to-day for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato. The Port Waikato was expected to sail from Auckland on Saturday for Lyttelton, and is due here to-morrow. She will dock for cleaning and painting, and is to load her® about Thursday for Dargaville, Tauranga, and Whangarei. The Storm should arrive here oa rhuroday from . Dunedin and Timaru to load lot Wellington and Wanganui. The Tees ia due here about Wednesday afternoon from Wellington, And Ib to on Thursday with passenger* and cargo for the Chatham Islands. The John arrived yesterday with cattle from Wellington, and sailed later for Dunedin. She should be back about Wednesday, via Timaru, and will take in cargo for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato. The Omana is to load at Newcastle oa Wednesday, and completes at Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Timaru. She is due. here about August 6th. The Opihi should be here on Wednesday from the south to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. She sails via Wellington. The Waipiata is expected on_ Friday _ froui Auckland and Wellington, and is to sail the «ame day for Dunedin, Bluff, Oamaru, and Timaru. She is due back on August 6th to load for Auckland. The Canadian Challenger arrived yesterday from Wellington to discharge Montreal cargo and to load. She is to sail to-morrow lor Timaru and Dunedin. Tho Katoa should arrive at Lyttelton tomorrow from Portland, via Wellington, with a part cargo of cement for discharge. The Kiwitea is due at Lyttelton cm July 31st from Adelaide and Melbourne, via Portland, New Plymouth, and Wellington. Prom this port she proceeds to Timaru and Dunedin. The Remuera is due at Wellington on Monday next from Southampton and London. She will also discharge at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton (August 4th), and Now Plymouth. Captain J. F. S. Brown, who has been on holiday leave, is relieving Captain T. V. Hill, of tho R.M.S. Niagara, in Sydney thil trip. Captain Hill goes on holiday. Captain W. J. S. Eyre, of the Kamo, and his officers, Messrs W. A. Todd, X. B. DymocJt, and M. J. Mcßao, have been transferred to the Ngakuto. / Captain M. McKenzie, of the Ngakuta, and his officers, Messrs F. W. Young, R. F. Dewar, and 0. F. Gaby, have been transferred to the Ngatoro. , . Captain E. R. Lowe, of the Ngatoro, and hn officers, Messrs R. D. Brobner, R. Duffner, and 0. A. Meyer, are returning to Wellington for instructions. Mr H. L. P. Brown has been appointed chief officer of the jlauraki, relieving Mr H. A. Brockett for holidays. Mr 8. C. Angui. chief officer of the Katoa, has been granted special leave. Mr J. J. Lyon is joining the Kakariki at Melbourne as chief officer, relieving Mr A. B. Fraser, who has resigned from the company's service.
Mr F. J. Cochrane recently joined the Kekerangu as second officer, relieving Mr L. B. Ehlert. who lias transferred to the Oonah in a similar capacity, Mr R. Allan having resigned from the company's, service. Mr J. Forbes is joining the Komata as third officer to-day," and Mr J. B. Williams is joining the Tamahine to-morrow in a similar capacity. The Argyllshire is due at Lyttolton on August 3rd ' from Timaru to load to the agency of the Federal Line. She is to sail on August 6th for Wellington; Napier, Gisborne. Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland, and is to sail Anally from the last-named port on August 23rd for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow. The Eotorua was due at Wellington on Saturday from Auckland to complete discharge. She loads at Bluff, Port Chalmers, Timaru, Lyttelton (August Bth to 12th), and Wellington. She is to sail from Wellington on August 16th for Southampton and London. The Limerick is due at Nelßon on July 31st from Australia to commence loading. She will take in cargo also at Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland, and if* to sail from the last-named port on August 20th for Halifax and London, via Panama. The Pakipaki arrived at Auckland on Friday from Liverpool. She will also discharge at Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton (July 31st), Port Chalmers, and Timaru.
