FACILITIES FOR STUDENTS.
APPEAL LAUNCHED IN LONDON. (USITED PBK33 ASSOCIATION—BT EIJSCTBIC TKLBQEAPH —COPYBIQHT.) (Received July 7th, 7 p.m.) LONDON, July 7. The New Zealand High Commissioner, Sir Thomas Wilfora. was amongst the distinguished guests who attended the "establishment dinner," at which the Prince of Wales appealed for £30,000 for a fund to establish in London offices which would he for students from the Dominions an international centre where they could obtain certain fac lit es for travel and for etirly whilst in England. The Prince stressed the necessity for such an organisation and pointed out that the English were naturally as kindly and as hospitable as any. but were apt to hide their kindness beneath an overwhelming bushel of reserve. There was a certain ritual, little understood by foreigners, which must be observed before even the outer bounds of companionship reacted.
