THE YORKSHIRE MATCH.
COUNTY TEAM MAKES 161. VISITORS WIN BY TEN WICKETS. (CSITXD I'BBSS ASSOCIATION—B3 BLECTHIC TBLSOHAPH—COPYRIGHT.) LONDON, July 3. In the match with the Australians at Bradford Yorkshire's struggling first innings ended at 3.40 p.m. to-day. The Australian fielding was vefy bad, about half a dozen chances being missed, or Yorkshire's score, would have been even less. The county batsmen followed on, •being 150 runs behind. Their score in the first innings was their worst this season. They again started badly, Hurwood shattering Mitchell's stumps. Rain then stopped play for half .an hour. Hurwood, upon the resumption, claimed two more victims. He was now showing .splendid form and causing all the batsmen trouble Griinmett came on with the score at 56 and immediately baffled the batsmen. W. Barber and Robinson fell victims to his wiles. The South Australian secureci his 100 th wicket of the tour when Bradman took a great catch at the boundary to dismiss Dennis. Hurwood got Wood before stumps were drawn, Waving Yorkshire itt a sorry plight. (R eccived July sth, 12.55 a.m.) LONDON, July 4. The weather was fine and the wicket good.
