By dismissing Oxford University twice for tlio same score, 124, tho Australians scored an easy victory by an innings and 158 runs. This was the visitors' fourth win of nine matches played. University started badly, Wall's first ball shattering Kingsley's wicket. Moore, who lia.s a splendid school record, and tho Indian, tho Nawab of Pataudi, retrieved the position somewhat, 50 appearing after 50 minutes. Grimmett secured his 40th wicket of the tour when he got Moore with the score at 72.

_ Five wickets then fell for tho addition of only 16 runs. Walker achieved two fine sturnpingis. Peebles alone of the others offered any resistance, and Grimmett ended the innings, which lasted 135 minutes. He bowled well throughout, and finished with fine figures.
