At New Plymouth yesterday, George Crompton Mansfield was sentenced to three months' hard labour for the theft of a purse containing £ll from Mrs Miller on a service bus between Te Kuiti and Mokau.—Press Association.
"Hand it over to the New Zealand Express Company" are the words heard in the busiest offices when clearance of goods is under discussion. A thorough knowledge of just what is required, coupled with a fleet of fast vans, makes the New Zealand Express Company's service the safest and quickest in the conatrz. ■—§
