Police evidence was to the effect that a neighbour discovered a candle* left burning in the house '.- Detective-Sergeant, ■„ Kelly sa|d. acr cused would not have gained anything by the fire. The bouse was under * mortgage to the-State Advances Department. Alexander was committed to the Supremo Court for sentence.
