GRAND ORGAN RECITAL.
.« An interesting and notable feature of the grand organ recital to be given by Mr Arthur Lilly, A.R.C.0., to-morrow evening at the Civic Theatre in aid of the Christchurch Municipal Band's new instrument fnnd, will be the sacred song "Ave Maria," written by the local composer, Mr R. A. Home. This will be sung by Percy Nicholls (late principal tenor Rigo Grand Opera Co.), with violin obbllgato played by Mr Arthur Gordon, and organ obbligato by Mr Arthur Lilly. A.R.C.O. The composer will be at the piano. Miss Sylvia Marshall, the wellknown soprano, will sing the sacred song "The Lord is Risen," by Sullivan. Included in Mr Lilly's items is "The Storm," by Lemmens. Admission is by silver e.-.in. but patrons occupying a seat in the dress circle are kindly asked to contribute at least one shilling. The recital will commence.at 8.30.
