FINEGAND STRIKERS.
REQUEST FOR REINSTATEMENT REFUSED. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TXLBOBAIt.) DTJNEDIN , April 23. Following a meeting lost night of men on strike at the Finegand Freezing Works, near Balclutha, the majority presented themselves to the management and asked to be reinstated unconditionally. The management refused on the ground that the men's places had been filled and no hooks were available.
