Mr Cunningham said it was very unfair that the West Coast was not being considered* ■ • The Emergency Committee was given power to act in the matter. ...... A copy -of the remits for the annual. conference of the New Zealand League was received. The Canterbury delegate, Mr L. : Amos, was instructed as'to the committee e ] attitude in these matters. Mr McGloin said in view of the mistaken; action'of the Sydenham Olub in appointing | Dr. Thacker to 6ffico, O'Connor's mistake might be overlooked. Messrs Alien and Cunningham Buoyed that j O'Connor's suspension be removed. . I Mr Amos said O'Connor was an excellent | player, but he must not be flowed to do m. lie liked with the. rales. Mr Sheshsn said, he' was prepared to accept O'Connor's explanation. , Mr Allen said he'could not allow a statement that O'Connor had played .ducks and, drakes with the rules to go unchallenged.
