Wally Kilmister, of "Wellington, •will Represent New Zealand in the special international- match races at the Speedway to-mo'r* row night; His opponents will- be Frank Pearce (Queensland) and "Lion" Van Praag (New South Wales). Three races will be held to decide upon the victor. Pearce* s latest performance was his phenomenal, ride in' Wellington on Wednesday, when he lowered ,the New Zealand' record to 76sec. To-morrow night he will make a special attempt to lower the record here. Wally Kilmister is a hero among Speedway fans in New Zealand. . He has to his credit victories over the best Australian riders who have visited New Zealand. To-mor-row night he can be depended upon to do his best to turn the tables again on the Australians. Two other New Zealand "stars" will be seen, in "Lofty" Naylor and Peter Phillips. A thrilling event will be the challenge race between N. R. Gray and W Thomas, to decide who will meet E, R. Marsh next week for the Gold Helmet. The loud speakers which proved so popular last ■week will again be used, and all arrangements have been made for a record crowd.
