ST. MARK'S SPORTS.
The annual sports were held at the Opawa batlis. The judging of the diving was undertaken by Miss Stella Rich,- and at the conclusion the prizes were presented by Mrs Quarrell. Width, handicap—Joyce Offwood 1, Judith Furze 2. Diving—Girls: Melva Edwards 1, Claire Morten 2. Boys: Edward Worsley 1, Robin Williams 2. Learners: ,Doroty Rasrausson 1, Helen S£?r, ar< * s 25yds Handicap, open—Robin Williams 1, Claire Morten 2. Width, backstroke—Claire Morten 1, Melva Edwards 2. Length, consolation—Alice Marshman 1. Betty Purchas 2. Long Plunge, open—Claire Morten (29ft) 1, Melva Edwards (26ft lin) 2. The Nora Quarrell Diving Cup was won by Melva Edwards, the Joan Furze Championship Cup by Claire Morten (23 points), Mr Kennett's presentation gold medal for boys (most points) by Robin Williams,• and the boys' championship cup by Robin Williamr (18 points).
