SHIPPING NOTES. The Tees is to leave Lyttelton to-day for the Chatham Islands, via Wellington. The tnnkor Hopemont completed discharge yesterday, and sailed for Balikpapan. The Foxton has been, delayed at Foxton by westerly galef. and is now due to-morrow to ' again load for Foxton. The Breeze should arrive to-morrow morning from the south to take in cargo for Wellington, Pieton, and Wanganui. The Gale is an expected arrival to-day from the north. She sails this afternoon for Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru, and is due back on Saturday to load here for Wellington. Pieton, and Wanganui. The Kuku is expected this afternoon from Wellington, and loads here to-morrow for that port direct The Kaitoke is expected at Lyttelton tomorrow from DUnedin to load for Auckland. The Kahika is.due at Lyttelton on Friday from .Timaru to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. The Totara is timed to load here to-day for New Plymouth. She sails via Wellington. The Maheno is due here on Thursday from Melbourne, via Dunedin and Bluff, and sails the same day for Melbourne, via Wellington and Bluff-

Tho Whito Star cargo liner Coptic is duo to arrive hero to-morrow from Timaru to complete loading for London. She is to sail from this port on Friday for liondon, via Panama. The June is to sail to-morrow for Port Chalmers to completa discharge o£ her cargo of phosphates. The Kartigi is expected on Friday from Portland, via Wellington, with cement. From this port she goes to Greymouth. The Wingatui is duo to-morrow from Auckland and Wellington, and sails iu tho evening for Timaru and Dunedin. Tho Karepo should arrivo hero on Friday from Westport, via Bluff, Oamaru, and Timaru. The Federal liner Westmoreland is duo hero to-morrow from Timnru to continue loading. Captain E. Harris is now in command of tho Narbnda. Tho Richardson steamer Gunbar was due at Wellington yesterday from Waikokopu, and will lay up indefinitely. The Marama loft Sydney on Friday afternoon for Wellington, and is due there this morning. Tho Maunganui left Sydney on Friday afternoon for Auckland, wliero she is due this morning. The Ulimaroa left Auckland on i'riday for Sydney, where she is due this morning. To suit the convenience of patrons of tho Marlborough races, tho Tnninhino will leave Wellington at midnight on Thursday, instead of her usual time on Friday. Sho will leave Picton on tbo return trip at 2.30 p.m. on Friday, and will sni! from Wellington as usual on Saturday. The Union Company advise that the loading of tho Kaimiro at Edithburg has been delayed b.v bad weather, and sho wag expected to leave there yesterday for Wallaroo to complete loading for Dunedin, Lyttclton, Wellington, and Auckland. Sho is expected to clear Wallaroo to-morrow.

The City of Wellington left New York on February 15th, and Newport News on Tuesday, for New Zealand ports. She is due at Auckland on March 19th. Tho departure of the Rangitane from Wellington for Southampton has beon fixed for noon on Saturday next. Passengers will be expected to be on board by 11 o^clock.

News lias been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Kent, which loft Picton on January 29th for London and West toast ports of Great Britain, loft the Panama Canal on February IHth. Tho C. and D. Lino steamer Port Nonier is reported to have arrived at Now York on February 17th from Knslaud. and will load there for Auckland. Wellington, Tjyttelton. and Dunedin. She is to leave New York on March Ist.

The Shaw, Savill Company report that their liner Tamaron left Wellington at noon on Friday for Napier instead of Waikokopu. From Napisr the vessel will preened to Waikokonu, and retur»s to Wellington and is now due there on February 28th to complete loading. She is to sail finally from Wellington at daybreak on March 12th for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal.
