AFTERNOON PARTY.
A "kitchen" afternoon party was given by Mrs T. Gee and Miss Thelma Gee at their home in Paparoa street in honour of Miss Doreen Parnham, who is shortly to be married. The drawing room was arranged .with bowls of shaded pink antirrhinum. An amusing competition was won by Mr» Wood and Miss Doris Webb. Amongst the guests were Mesdames W. E. Parnham, C. G. Macilree, V. Wood, 11. Robilliard, Misses Doreen Parnham, Phyllis Robinson, Lottie Macilree, Doris Webb, Ngaio Wansbrough, and Elsie Gibbons.
