JIM GERALD'S REVUE. KJSW PROGRAMME TO-DAT. A complete change of programme will be effected at Fullers' New Opera House to-day, commencing with a special holiday matinee at 2.30 -p.m. With that bright and most popular company, Jin* Gerald's Revue, now commencing its second week here, patrons are assured of a most enjoyable and amusing Show. \ The new programme, which is said to be "better' and brighter than ever, is a snappy, fascinating show. The first hall of the J pr°B r * mme win introduce another series of? "Bright Ideas," an array of delightful musical numbers, clever dancing, vaudeville itemß, and comedy sketches. The big attraction on the bill is Jim Gerald s greatest success, "Oh, Mum," a pantomime revue presented in one huge act and five scenes. In this production Jim Gerald is said to be at his, best,, portraying a garrulous oTA woman with a numerous family, in which-his quips and sallies provoke the audience into roars of laughter all through the piece. A leading Australian theatrical critic writes: —"Mr Gerald is probably seen at his best in his', impersonations of D*"™ characters, and the pantomime revue, Oh, Mum,' gives him a great opportunity for laughter-making in his role of 'Mrs Muggins.' The lady is a species of pantomime dame, and it is needless to say that Mr Gerald fairly revels in it. and keeps the audience rocking with laughter all the time he is before them. ". The fun he extracts from his differences with his family of large children is worth going.a long way to see. "Oh, Muml" will be presented nightly this week, with the ufcual matinee on Saturday. ' The company is now playing to crowded houses, and. reservations are recom. mended. These may be made for to-day s performances at the New Opera Kouße confectionery shop irom 9 a.m. till 7 o clock this evening.
