ATHLETICS.

DUNSANDEL SPORTS. Fine weather prevailed yesterday morning I when the Dunsandel Sports Association opened its annual meeting in the local demain. Shortly before three o'clock, however, rain eet in and interfered with the enjoyment of the sports for a while. There was a very good attendance of the general public and the racing throughout was keen and interesting. Splendid entries were received for the cycling races, many of the best-known cash riders being engaged. Music was supplied by a Highland pipe band, and the dancing events were followed with lively interest by a considerable section of the spectators. The club's revenue was substantially augmented by the proceeds of various games and side-shows.
