SARRON BEATS LECKIE. (PRRSS ASSOCIATION TBL»ORA»I.) NAPIER, January t. Sarron defeated Leckie to-night on points in easily the best contest seen in Napier for many years. Clean and open, with many full arm exchanges, the pace was very * fast throughout. Up to the twelfth round there was little between the two boxers, but in the romain.ng three. E'arron did the forcing, apparently seeking a knock-out. Although not successful he placed a margin of points in his favour, and gained the verdict.
