ENQUIRY ADJOURNED

(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) CARTERTON, December 30. An inquest concerning tho death of John Daniel Randle, aged forty-seven years, who was killed on the Grev-town-Featherston highway on Sunday through a car overturning, was opened at Greytown this morning before the district Coroner. A nephew of Randle. Claude Henry John Edwards. of Gisborne. who was a passenger in the buck seat with Miss Osborne, stated that the car was travelling at a moderate pace. It ran off the "road. Handle applied the brakes sharplv and the car overturned, crushing his head. Mrs Edwards, who was sitting alongside. was hadly bruised. Both the women wero taken to the Greytown Hospital. The inquest was adjourned till their evidence becomes available. Randle was a resident of Dtinodin. He was on his way to join his wife to catch the boat.
