She is due at Auckland ! on January 17th. The Canadian Highlander, which left Montreal on November 26th for New Zealand ports, sailed from Panama on December 15th. She is due at Auckland on January 11th. The Coptic, from London, left Balboa on Tuesday afternoon for Suva and New ZeaI land. She is due at Suva on January 11th, j and at Auckland on January 17th. | The Canadian Explorer, which left Auckt land on November 14th, arrived at New York j on December 20th, and sailed on the following day for Boston and Halifax. The Ruapehu. en route from Port Chalmers, arrived at Montevideo on Tuesday morning and sailed the following day for London aad West Coast ports. ' . The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that their motor liner Rangitiki, which left Wellington at 5 p.m. on December 7th for Southampton and London, arrived at Panama on Wednesday afternoon after tin exceptionally fast passage of IS days, at an average speed of about 15 knots. She left Colon on Thursday afternoon for Southampton. The Rangitiki, like all other motor ships, has had to have her engines run in at a moderate speed, and although her passage to Panama shows that she is capable of maintaining a speed of approximately 15 knots over great distances, there is every prospect of a further increase, as it is stated by the company that her engines have not yet been fully extended. j PORT OF TIMARU. i Departures.
