igUKOURA CLUB. The combined racing and sports meeting held by the Kaikoura Racing Club took place en Boxing Day, in perfect weather, and before a large attendance, the event proving very popular. Trophies were given in all events. The galloping was of. an excellent order, and the trotting produced some nice horses. ' The president (Mr A. w. Barker) and committee are to be complimented on the success of the sports. The Brass Band was in attendance. Results:— Bicycle Handicap, twice round course—6. Sharplin (30yds) 1, H. Stack (scr) 2.
