Fielden Taylor to-day, the victim being Morris Howell, whose home is at 20 Reuben avenue, Brooklyn. He was one of a large party travelling by train to Levin. When the train Was nearing Paekakariki, the bov, in some way which nobody happened to observe, fell from the carriage. The fall was noticed and the train was promptly stopped, nnd the boy was taken on board and carried to Paekakariki where the district nurse attended to him. A doctor was sent for, but the boy only lived for about half an hour, and was dead when the doctor arrived.
