CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION MEETS. A of the Cauterbur-.- Surf and Liie-Savmg Association was held oa Tueadav, Mr C. A. Cooper being in the cii»ir. It was decided that Mr D. V. W.lson be the Association delegate at the Grey-mouth conference in February. Dates for inter-club competitions were fixed as follows:—Xorth Beach iRa? A report from -As Beach Control Subcommittee stated that an endeavour . was bens made to obtain two patrolmen iro:ij Australia Xo appointments had yet been made, but the committee was empowered to act as thev thought fit m all matters coctcimng beach control.
