Criminal gangs in Sydney find the introduction of the "consorting" clause in the Crimes Act unhealthy. Several arrests have already been made, which will be the subject of test cases next week. The police state that known criminals will have full opportunity to.leave New South Wales in the next month or so. A number of criminals have not waited for hints; they stood not upon the order of their going as soon as they learned that the "consorting" clause wns in operation. The authorities believe that this will reduce gang warfare and promiscuous shootings and slashings..
