DANCING.

RECITAL AT RADIANT HALL. At the Radiant Hall on Saturday night a recital was given by the pupils of Miss Bessie Macdonald in aid of the Burns Memorial Hall. The programme comprised 44 different scenes, and as each scene was different, it can only be said that the organising ability of Miss Macdonald, and her collaborators, must be of a very high order. Prominent among the latter was Mrs W. O. S. Adam, the musical director and accompanist, whose orchestra contributed largely to the success of the evening. It would be impossible to mention every deserving item, but prominent among many embryo Pavlovas was little Mickey Perrin, whose Dance Comique was exceptionally good. Again, a contortionist act, by Pat Gregory and Charles Birchfield, was worthy of a larser audience than even the Radiant Hall could hold. And lastly, the babies, or junior students, as the programme austeraly called them, were as delightful as could be desired. Following was the programme: — Part I.—Overture, orchestra; song.
