WHIPPET RACING.
DUNEDIN MEETING. [THE PRESS Special Service.] DUNEDIN, December 14. Although a largo number of counter-attrac-tions caused a rather small attendance at Tahuna Park to-day, when the Dunedin Whippet Racing Club staged its Summer Meeting, some keen racing was witnessed in all the events. The Summer Cup proved another victory to Mr B. Hobbs'a Tasman Flight (27yds>, who recently won the Cup race at the Dunedin Club's Inaugural Meeting. Invercargill owners had things their own way in the hurdles events, both of which were annexed by Southland dog», while Christchurch competitors were successful in the Tahuna Handicap and the Sapling Stake.
