Commercial Bank oi Australia shares had dealings at 25s I'M, and there were further unsupported sellers at 25s lid —the preierence were easier with sellers at £7 2s 6d, buyers at £6 18s. Bank cf New South Wales shares realised £4O os, closing quotations £4O sellers, £39 2a 6d buyers. Goldsbrough, Morts weakened to 37s 2d sellers, 36s buyers—the "rights'" were tirm at 4s 7d* market closing 4s 6d buyers, 4s 9d sellers. Huddart, Parkers appeared easied with unsupported sellers at 41s 9d. British Tobacco shares were firm at 44s 9d and 44s lOd, and there were further sellers at 44s lOd, buyers at 44s 7d. Tooths Brewery shares claimed stronger buyers at 41s 7d, but sellers wanted 42s 2d. Mt. Lyells remained at 41s 2d, sellers staying, in at that figure, buyers at 41s Id. New Zealand Drug Company shares were firmer with business at 73s lid, closing quotations 2d on either side. Quotations for other stocks showed little movement.
