Mr D. M. Allan has taken up duties as chief instructor to the Auckland Aero Cldb in succession to Major G. A. ('. Cowper. Mr Allan has an exceptional record as an instructor, and for two years during the Great War wo* engar:e-d in the intensive training of war pilots. He has been a prominent member of the Hawke's Bay Aero Club, and recently went through a reserve course it Sockburn. and also completed a special course at Hobsonville air ba«o.— Press Service.
