The Secretary for Agriculture, Mr Hyde, predicted lower interest rates on loans to farmers after he and a group of farm leaders had conferred with President Hoover to-day. The leaders recommended to the President the immodiate extension of his national road building programme. Throughout the day Mr Hoover's office was flooded with telegrams from many sources, indicating that officials of all capacities are eager to cooperate with Mr Hoover's programmes of construction and development. The President's final conference will he one with the utility heads, after which the Chamber of Commerce will take up the work begun by Mr Hoover.
