__ » _ The following amusing conversation was overheard in the Regent Theatre, Wellington. A small girl was evidently witnessing the "Talkies" for the first time. The little one listened with great interest and excitement, but seemed to be disturbed by the continual coughing of a man sitting just behind her. 'Mummie," she said at last, "why does the man keep making that noise?" "Because he has a cold, I expect, darling," replied the mother. "Well. Mummie, why doesn't he take some 'Baxter's'?"
