A HAPPY REUNION.

TENNIS MATCH. A happv time was spent on Saturday afternoon at St. Margaret's College, Crannur square, when the Old Girls' Association challenged the present girls for the tennis challenge cup, which was presented bv Miss Betty Thomas, an old girl, and was on view during the afternoon. The tenni". which was of a high standard, was thoroughly enjoyed by an unusually large number of spectators. The hue performance put up by the present girls j-h-iwod the result of the splendid training they had received from their school sports mistress, Miss Loney. As the scores between the two teams were very even, excitement ran high, and finally, after many hard-fought games, the scale turned in favour of the old girl*, who won the cup by the small margin of five points. Afternoon tea, cool drinks, and iocs were served by the committee on the lawn under the shelter of the trees and, later, Miss Betty Thomas presented the challenge cop to winning team. On Saturday evening St. Margaret's College Old Girls' Association held its first annual reunion dinner at the Clarendon ITotel. The long tables were decorated with the Association's colours —silver and blue. In the absence of the president and vice-president, Miss Bradwell, the senior mistress of St. Margaret's College, presided. Mrs Heatheote Garland, on behalf of the members, thanked the committee for all they had done for the Association, and Miss Bradwell and Miss Janet Storry replied on behalf of the committee. The members of the committee present were:—Miss Janet Storry (hon. treasurer), Miss Rose Reynolds (hon. secretary), Miss Stella Purchas, Miss Gladys Buddie. Mrs E. Archbold, Miss Irene Graham, Miss Gwen Rankin, Miss Betty Thomas, and Miss Alma Chamberlain.

Her sleeveless pink coat, rucked at the neck and bordered with hl.ick, was beaded in silver from tbe n*ck to hem, and worn, in the second act, over a pink frock. Miss Betty Lambert looked verv attractive in a frock of white georgette, the pleated skirt being striped with green, and the sleeveless jumper inset with green at the waist, and finished with a green tie. Miss Vera St. John, as Joan's maid, wore a smart green satin frock, cream organdie apron, collar, and cuffs, and • round fiat eap.
