Th« owners have received a wireless message from Port Raid stating that there is no ground for the rumours in connexion with the Baron Eicho. Captain Mac Donald was not aware that destroyers were searching for the ship. The wireless operator was seriously ill. (Received November 24th. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, November 23. The steamer Baron Elcho is dne to arrive at Marseilles on Tuesday. [Messages published on Saturdaysaid that wireless messages had been received that the wirelesa operator of the Baron Eleho had been attacked, and asking for help. Destroyers were dispatched to search for the vessel, i STATEMENT BY THE MASTER. (Received November 25th, 12.43 a.m.) MALTA, November 24. A destroyer has reached the Baron Eleho, the master of which says that he has no knowledge of any messages, and considers that the wireless operator is mentally unsown.l. The destroyer will remain nntil the swell abates and permits further investigation, if necessary.
