In the time limit billiard* match, at Leeds, Lindrum baa scored 1623, including breaks of 307, 262, and 204; Smith' (in play) has made 2041, including breaks of 264 and *56. in a similar match at Manchester, McConachy (in play) has made 2151, including breaks of 225, 901, 445, 322, and 406 (unfinished). Davis has made 1373, including a break of 348. BRITISH OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. {Received November 12th, 7.50 p.m.) LONDON, November 12. Lindrum was in- a more subdued mood at Leeds, where, at the evening session, Smith had such a mastery over the balls that he gradually drew ahead, despite the fact that he has a slight cold. McConachy was playing most consistently against Davis, and built up a useful lead. The "Daily Chronicle's" sporting writer says that Lindrum regards the conditions for the British open championship as farcical and may take a stand with Smith, who has announced that he is rot competing this year
