FANCY DRESS DANCE.
Last night, at the Orange Hall, gaily decorated for the occasion with bowls of laburnum, Miss Lowe entertained her pupils at a charming fancy dress dance, which, needless to say, was greatly enjoyed by the youthful guests. Miss Lowe, who was presented with a fragrant posy of lilies of the valley by Alison Macgibbon and with a beautiful bouquet by Margaret Bassett, on behalf of the pupils, wore a handsome frock of black net embroidered with cafe au lait tracery, and a colourful scarf of russet and green crepe de chine. Excellent music was supplied by Mrs J. Murdock (piano) and Mr Alex. Munro (violin).
