NEW SALVATION ARMY CHIEF.
♦ — — j The new head of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, Commissioner John Cunningham, will arrive in the Dominion with his wife and two members of his family on Tuesday next, and in Christehurch on November 23rd. He will be in Christehurch on the Saturday and Sunday, and will probably be tendered a civic reception on Saturday, followed tv a tour of inspection of the Armv institutions in Christehurch. He will meet Army officers in the afternoon, and will be given a public reception in the evening. The Commissioner will take the service at Sydenham on the Sunday morning, the afternoon service at Linwood, and the evening service at the Citadel.
