OPERA HOUSE.
Nat Phillips's "Whirligigs" revue and vaudeville company is a brilliant troupe of comedians, singers, and dancers, and their new programme this week at the New Opera House 1S the best they have yet presented in Chnstchurch. Sparkling with merriment frorn curtain to curtain, and interspersed with lively music and ballet work, the show keeps the audience in constant amusement. As usual, the srst act is devoted to varied and novel vaudeville turns reeled off with out a moment's delay, and the second half of the.prog'anne is -iven over to a musical comedy revue. Clair is the star comedian on the pnnlel programme, but T ac k Kdlawav »ike* tho lead in gaining laughs. He is a genuine run-maker, and his mannerisms and studied vo'ce inflexions are excellent, his make-up Cf7.t r- ,nd his EtaKe remarkable. Nat Phillips himse'f and Al Mack are always entertaining. The four tojether produce tome gMM comedy.
