BIG CARGO OF OPIUM.

Two hundred and seventy-six tins of opium, vaiued at about £3OOO, were discovered by Customs officers in a secret cupboard aboard the steamer Tin da, which is lying at VVoolloomootoo Bay. * The illegal cargo, which was concealed in a concrete bed in a linen chest, is one of the largest hauls made for many years.—Australian Press Association.
