The refusal of the Auckland City Council to grant a permit for the erection of a six-storey building containing 53 "one-room apartments" will be the subjeet of a public enquiry which will open on October 4th, to take evidence for consideration by the Town Planning Board. When the City Council adopted the recommendation of its Town Planning Committee notice was given by Marlborough Mansions, Limited, of the intention to appeal to the Town Planning Board.
