SINGH BEATS JOHANSSON. (PBE3B ASSOCIATION TELEGBAK.) AUCKLAND. September 26. Naranjan Singh, the Indian wrestler, continued his victorious career in Auckland when he defeated Walter Johansson, champion of Finland, at the Town Hall te-ni.?ht. The bout went the full eight rounds, but Singh secured a fall in the fifth round. The Match wa3 witnessed by a large crowd, which became wildly excited at times, especially in the last round, when Johansson appeared likely to obtain a faU. The Indian, although groggy, was too elusive, however.
