PACKET LICENSE FOR RIVER STEAMER OPPOSED.
(FBXSS ASSOCIATJOS TKJW&AJ4.) HAMILTON, September 26. The Mayor and a number of citiacns of Hamilton nave forwarded a petition opposing the application of the Hooee Sn.pping Company for a packet license for their river steamer, which is largely used in summer for excursions. The local directors of the com panv state that they had no knowledr»> of the intention to apply for a license.
