INTERNATIONAL SETTLEMENT. (OstiTtu raise association—*r smct*ic raiMfcin -corauoxr.) (Received September 28rd, 5.3 p.m.) LONDON, September 32. Sir Charles Addis and Mr W. T. Layton have been appointed by the Governors of the Bank of England to be th« British members on the Organisation Committee of the Bank for the International Settlement of International Reparations. Sir Charles Addis is director of the Bank of England and waa British ropreeentative under the Dawes reparations scheme. Mr Layton is editor of the Economist" and has been prominently concorned with the financial work of the League of Nations. Recently he went to India M financial adviser to the Simon Commission.-—Australian Press Association.
