A. well-dresaed young man, Ooorgo Clifton, a salesman and native of England, was arretted on the arrival of the Aorangi from Bydney this morning ©ma charge of stowing away at Sydney last Thursday. He liter Magistrate's Court and ploadod gouty to the charge. The police and punt of the veaeel stated that Clifton was found u» the ■eeond-class quarters of the Aorangi only yesterday. Ho admitted that it was his intention to work his paasage to Canada. Aeeueed only bad MalOa on him when arrested. Clifton asked the Magistrate tmr m chance so that he eould look for work.
