The Minister for Customs, Mr Gullett, denied that the omission of Hobart as a port Of call for the new Steamship service which iB being festablished between NeW Zealand and Melbourne was due to the operation of the Commonwealth Navigation ActMr Gullett added that there was no truth in the report that the omission Was due to the provisions of coastal clauses of the Navigation Aet.
