ESCAPE FROM LOCK-UP.
MSN CAPTURED AFTER SEARCH. (vViras hums associatios—bt incnw niMun cftrrKoit.) SYDNEY, September 18. A Bourke message states that throe prisoners mad* a daring eecape from Yatanbulla lock-up. When Constable Rippon took the men tea they knocked him down and brutally assaulted him, rendering him unconscious. They then escaped into the bush The police on surrounding stations were immediately notified, and the hunt for the escapees continued throughout the night. A tracker discovered them next day. _ The police travelled over 100 miles in the course of their search. Australian Press Association.
